I like how the summer light plays on the leaves in this photo by the river trail.
While post-processing, Lightroom suggested a preset that turned it into fall colors.
It’s probably what it would look like in a couple of months. And no doubt fall colors are lovely.
But why hurry? Let me enjoy the sunshine for now. And my mundane real life colors.
Every season has it’s finest moments….so I agree enjoy it as they come.

I find the fresh green colour of the leaves much more relaxing.

Yes, quite. Nature will do its own processing all too soon.

And nothing beats this “natural processing.”

Nothing mundane about the colours you’ve shared here. The different shades of the summer green trees are just lovely. Thank you for sharing them with our challenge.

Your post reminded me of the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Let the warm colors come when it’s their time. Enjoy the summer while it lasts.

I agree with you completely. And I’m unsettled by the seeming authenticity of the post-processing suggestion. I’m grateful to learn about the possibility, and grateful you elected to keep it real!
