Autumn Colors in Central Park

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” (Albert Camus)

In parts of the world with four seasons, autumn is a feast for the eyes indeed.

It’s also nature’s assurance, before the onset of winter, that things will be alright. A cheerful reminder that the seasons are a cycle, that there’s something to look forward to.

It was a lovely day when I visited Central Park in New York some time ago. The leaves were turning to their autumn colors, and people were turning out to enjoy the nice weather.

I’d like to visit Central Park again, this oasis in the middle of Manhattan, where people don’t have to go far to enjoy the colors of autumn.
