We don’t have four seasons. A friend once joked that you can pick the weather forecast for any day and apply it the whole year. “Sunny with some cloudy skies and occasional rainshowers and thunderstorms.”
But it’s not quite true. At least we officially get two seasons — wet and dry.
The change in seasons can be abrupt. One day it’s hot and humid, the next day it just pours like crazy and goes on for days.
Today was such a day, and suddenly the “summer” of the dry season is just a memory.
