A Postcard From Bath, England

Bath_0225a1 (Pulteney Bridge over the weir on the Avon River which it crosses.)

If I could paint, I would have painted this.

But alas, I couldn’t draw straight lines, and all I had was a camera.

Still worth taking it back, if only to preserve a memory, like a postcard to myself.

Trivia: Do people even know what a postcard is? According to the US Postal Service, the number of stamped cards and postcards sent has declined from 1.4 billion in 2010 to 630 million in 2018.

Thanks for the comment. I was going for that “watercolour” look, somehow reminds me of those paintings sold in souvenir shops. 🙂
