Duranta erecta, called golden dewdrop, belongs to the verbena family and have flowers that are light blue and lavender. (Why they’re called golden dewdrop I don’t know.}
The flowers form clusters near the end of its stems.
Nice to see them bloom in the garden. I find the lavender color quite relaxing.
A refuge in the city.
Lovely and calming. Purple flowers are also a favorite of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
