Where Do the Children Play?

Well you’ve cracked the sky, scrapers fill the air.
Will you keep on building higher
’til there’s no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

I know we’ve come a long way,
We’re changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?
– Cat Stevens, “Where Do the Children Play?”

  1. I travel at least once a month for my job and can confirm that window seats offer the best photo opportunities but are not so good when it comes to crawling over others to use the restroom. Thanks for sharing!

    1. ๐Ÿ˜‚ This made me laugh, Gale, that image of crawling over others to go to the restroom, specially with the lights out! For that reason I used to take the aisle seat, specially for long haul flights. Lately though I realised the window seat offers a little more privacy and a better view specially on short flights. And I avoid getting hit by the food cart! ๐Ÿ˜„

    1. Thank you, Linda, and Iโ€™m glad I somehow helped you (re)discover Cat Stevens. Yes, he was a genius, and his songs still resonate. Iโ€™m also glad to read that he is back performing/touring after decades of absence. ๐Ÿ™‚
